SPECIAL EDITION NERD NITE June 1

THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL WILL BE FILMING AT THIS SPECIAL EDITION NERD NITE!!!!
Friday June 1, 2012
7:30pm at The 41 downtown Kitchener
Our frequent Nerd Nite presenter, attendee, and trivia master Andrew Rader (the aerospace engineer that presented about Dogs at Nerd Nite episode 2) will be doing a special presentation!
and YES THAT’S RIGHT, THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL WILL BE THERE!This will be one of the most interesting Nerd Nite’s yet as Andrew will be doing a presentation about Mars.

BE PART OF THE AUDIENCE AND POSSIBLY BE ON THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL!!!

We will be the first Nerd Nite in the world that instead of saying we are “like the Discovery Channel, only with beer”, we can say “we ARE ON the Discovery Channel with beer”!!!!

The 41 downtown Kitchener has been kind enough to let us use their space for this event!!! We will have our own bartender and there will be a full menu.

Here are the details of Andrew’s presentation…you don’t want to miss it!

Earth’s housing bubble is about to burst. Andrew Rader will talk about future prospects for Space settlement, with emphasis on why Mars makes a good candidate for human exploration and colonization. Andrew will also discuss Mars-related research on Earth and how we can prepare to visit the red planet.
Andrew Rader is a Spacecraft Systems Engineer at COM DEV in Cambridge, Ontario. He earned his Ph.D. from MIT in Aerospace engineering, where he conducted experiments on human subjects investigating the long-term effects of spaceflight on the human body. Andrew was president of the MIT Chapter of the Mars Society and is an advocate of both human and robotic spaceflight.

BE THERE AND BE AWESOME!!!
